As an usher, you set the tone for the worship experience by maintaining an atmosphere where life-change through Christ can happen, distraction free. Your job includes: walking through the auditorium for cleanliness before and after service, set-up pipe and drape to control seating, put out the Connection Cards and envelopes pre-service and collect them after service, and hang signs and banners. You’ll get to greet people in the auditorium and direct them to available seats, open additional seating as needed, take the offering and hand off buckets to the financial verification team. Be attentive to your duties during praise & worship by keeping your eyes open and being aware of people entering, tear down and pack everything into the usher totes after service is dismissed.
